I need to texture on the high rez so I can see where the panels I have modeled are then project down onto the game rez model. Most of the time I have to create hip, young people in street clothes that have stripes, logos, panels etc. I need to be able to project my textures. If your referring to projecting the diffuse,spec etc.you can do this in max and maya fairly easily.I'll do a vid at some point when I have time. I hear a lot of talk about film rez models (King Kong etc) and displacment maps but all that stuff is useless to me as a game artist. This is as I see it one of the huge benefits of using Zbrush in the game industry. Hi Wayne, any chance you could explain how you get round the problem of not being able to project textures from the high rez model onto the game rez model.
